DROWNED SILENCE (2025)

As water becomes both her greatest fear and her only link to unraveling a buried trauma, DROWNED SILENCE plunges viewers into a dripping maze of isolation, guilt, and supernatural dread. The question is: what if the haunting is not in her head?

User Reviews:

🔸 9/10 – “Hitchcock would be proud.”
The tension in DROWNED SILENCE doesn’t come from jump scares — it’s the atmosphere, the claustrophobic bathrooms, and the deafening sound of running water. Mariana Vélez delivers a performance so raw, it feels painfully real. — @NightmareCinephile

🔸 7.5/10 – “Wet, wild, and deeply unsettling.”
Not your average horror flick. It's moody, slow-burning, and hits hard emotionally. Some scenes are hard to watch — not because they’re gory, but because they’re too real. — @CinemaShade

🔸 6.5/10 – “A haunting metaphor for trauma.”
You’ll never look at a hot shower the same again. I wanted more answers by the end, but the ambiguity works in its favor. Beautifully shot, and emotionally intense. — @ReelDepths

Trivia:

  • The lead actress reportedly filmed the climactic shower scene over 12 hours straight with minimal breaks to enhance realism.

  • Inspired by a real-life journal entry the director found in an abandoned house.

  • No CGI was used for water effects — everything was practically staged, including the infamous “leak scene.”
